Membership of the Admiralty Bar Group is open to practising barristers (both employed and self-employed) who have successfully completed pupillage and:
either hold a current practising certificate granted by the General Council of the Bar of England and Wales and who practise (or intend to practise) in the field of admiralty law
or have been a barrister but now act as maritime mediators or maritime arbitrators in England and Wales.
Lawyers practising in other jurisdictions in admiralty law who are interested in the work of the Admiralty Court may apply for associate membership.
Chambers with at least one individual member may apply to become supporting members.

The current annual subscription rates, payable by direct debit, are as follows:
Students and Juniors (0 – 4 years call): FREE
Juniors (5 years call +) £45
KCs: £60
Supporting Chambers: £120
Associate Members: £45
Retired Admiralty Judges and Admiralty Registrars are honorary members. Members’ names will be published on this website.
